Hired for songstress Meelah Williams, Ressie G was in the middle of dressing her in an amazing one of a kind piece from the Lisa Nicole Cloud Collection when opportunity struck. There he was Grammy Nominated artist Musiq Soulchild being featured in the music video with one problem. He had no Stylist. With skills greater than Harry Houdi himself and little to no time to pull multiple looks. Ressie pulled off the unthinkable. Styling him in fashion brands Diesel, Haynes, and Marc Jacobs the mission was accomplished. The music Video turned into a success, not only leaving Meelah pleased with her looks but Musiq Soulchild as well.

Looking your best and being the best helps the world go around. At the beginning of Ressie G.’s career he started out in the arena of artist development. Outside of working with Slip -N- Slide Records work with a independent music label under Universal Music Group, Jaded Records. With taking on all the artist on the roster, Casey Flaig was the first artist that Ressie was hired for to develop. From doing the smallest of tasks like photoshoots and other visual projects. Ressie gave Casey an image that will continue further than his time with the label. Artist development is a huge part of the music industry and just one notch in his belt.

While filming the hit TV1 show R&B Divas produced by Carlos King, Meelah Williams reached out to Ressie G. for some brand consulting. With the knowledge that Ressie has and the referrals that come along with his name, she took his word as bond. Later that week Meelah called Ressie to style her for one of her confessional/interview scenes for the show. From there on a relationship began to blossom. Ressie was her go stylist to for a while. During his journey with her she even reaching out to him to style her for a musical tribute where she sang for the R&B Legend Shirley Murdock. This evert was such a magical night that he paired a custom Miriam Belasse lace gown from the Belasse Collection and a pair of 120mm So Kate Christian Louboutin pumps. She was defiantly the bell of the ball. As Ressie continued to dazzle her fans with fabulous looks, Meelah then asked him to style her first music video she had done in over 10 years. Directed by SLASH and produced by The Spice Group the video has reach thousands of views on Youtube and millions across all social media outlets. This songstress has a huge respect for Ressie as a person and trust his eye as a stylist.

Wanting to work with bestselling author and philanthropist, Monyetta Shaw since the beginning of his career Ressie finally got the opportunity. Ressie was called to have a very intense but professional meeting with critic acclaimed photographer Drexina Nelson to talk about am opportunity like no other. “A task that seemed impossible”, said Nelson but a small one to Ressie turned out to be a piece of cake. With only 72 hours until the shoot, at the ninth hour he was asked to style four looks for two national publications thus putting Ressie alongside a very select group of published and successful fashion stylist in the United States. With a long list of vendors in his rolodex Ressie put together six photographed looks and chosen from those were three looks that were published in Hyper Hair Magazine and Today’s Black Woman Magazine. By collaborating with her personal stylist, Ressie dressed her in custom Rolliford Hall, designers such as Avanh , Lena Danielle, and pieces from Gregory’s. Shoes from designers Jimmy Choo, Christian Louboutin, and accessories from Lara Bohinc and Harry Winston. From raising large sums in the Atlanta community to the screens of VH1, Monyetta Shaw defiantly was a honor to style and Ressie G.

Being the best under pressure is Ressie’s forte. When called by Lauren Williams, a member of Porsha Williams’ management team and given 24hours to prep for a important photo shoot he was ready. Meeting Ressie out and and about in the Atlanta social circuit and hearing about his work ethic. He was the first on his list when it came to getting the right person to help with branding her million dollar business Naked Hair. With any important branding materials you have to have the best team formed. Owner of Snob Life Studio Ming Lee was on hair, Japan of Japanese Faces was on make-up and Ressie being the newbie was on wardrobe but under a very tiny microscope. As the shoot was under was Porsha went to the rack and looked at the twenty pieces of clothing that he brought to the set. She did not like any of the looks that he chose. With almost a decade of experience under his belt, Ressie tastefully pulled the Real Housewife of Atlanta to the side and assured her that she would look great and execute exactly what she wanted. After that confirmation custom Alex Holliman, Native Dreams, and high end designer Elie Tahari flew off the racks to cover the beauty. Paired with Christian Louboitun, Jimmy Choo, and Walter Steiger and custom accessories from Aisle Fourteen.com Porsha and the team was more than satisfied. She continued to hire Ressie for the most personal of engagements and still to this day uses the photos that she took from their first shoot.

From Atlanta to New York and now the runways of Milan and Paris. Deion Smith has really taken his career to the next level. When Ressie met Deion he was hired by his them talent agency to style and do his male grooming. When Ressie got the opportunity to pull him aside he found out that he was moving to New York to further his modeling career and needed to look very commercial. Ressie took him to a very commercial level so that he could take these photos where ever his career would. Now with RED Model Management his career has now gone through the roof and those photos has taken him across the pond and back.

Singer/Songwriter Ms. Comai was Ressie G.'s first official client as a freelance stylist. While being signed to Slip N Slide she officially gave Ressie G. his first break. Red carpets, live performances, photo shoots, and development was all in his hands when it came to Ms. Comai. she gave him an opportunity like no other. She is defiantly he is her number one fan and she is his all the way. Ms. Comai had Ressie G. by her side whenever she needed to look fabulous.

A proud LGBT activist to the world Madison Hinton aka TS Madison is a shining star. When Ressie worked with her she needed to get new photos to take to LA with her new business ventures. As her career continues to rise she still from time to time gives Ressie a call to as opinions on fashion, and style. After how seeing how professional Ressie was and how he gave the perfect looks she reached out to him to do another shoot but this time for photos.

Public relations are a huge part of every brand. When Ressie was reached out to by a particular PR team to be apart of a filming for WeTV's Cutting It In The ATL. During the filming process Ressie had the pleasure of working with Celebrity Photographer Derek Blanks to make per promotional photos look fabulous. After that shoot Ressie was called again by the PR team to be on location to style six models for a major commercial that was broadcast state during primetime television in Alabama. In the same month he was hired to coordinate and style a fashion show that consisted of 20 models. With one assistant he accomplished switching the models in and out of three different looks each. When a good impression is made the client wants to talk to you personally so Mushiya called Ressie and wanted him to help with the vision of her first music video. She viewed how previous work and wanted have the same feel his previous clients had. As time continued on they both grew to respect each other and work together when necessary.
